How Mauricio’s Concrete Began
Mauricio began learning the trade of concrete construction and masonry in his home country of El Salvador. After coming to America, he honed these skills while working at Clark Construction for many years, followed by work with various companies performing concrete, masonry, and stonework throughout the region.
In 2010, Mauricio’s Concrete Company was founded — built on a simple principle: do good, honest work. With dedication and a focus on quality concrete installation, Mauricio grew the business through word-of-mouth and satisfied customers. Today, we are proud to continue serving MD, DC, and Northern VA with the same core values.

Kevin, Mauricio’s son, grew up coming to job sites with his father — starting at just 11 years old! From a young age, Kevin knew he wanted to one day help lead the business. Following his father’s advice, Kevin pursued higher education, earning a degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University.
After gaining experience in the design world, Kevin made the decision to return full-time to Mauricio’s Concrete. Today, he brings not only hands-on expertise in concrete work but also a professional eye for landscape design — helping clients create beautiful, cohesive outdoor living spaces.
